Realistic border waiting times

On a normal day the crossing between Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina takes anywhere from a few minutes to around 30–45 minutes for a small vehicle. • Season — July and August are the busiest; spring and autumn are usually quick.

Why a small vehicle clears the border faster

A large coach can carry 40–50 passengers, and every single one must be processed at the border — which is why coach groups can sit in queues of up to two hours in peak season. Our tours travel with a maximum of eight guests in a small van. Fewer passports, faster processing, and we're not regrouping dozens of people at every stop.
